John is a an outstanding teacher and excellent educational administrator. He provides very strong learning experiences for students across the school. A key charateristic of John's teaching is the strong relationship that he develops with each of his students. As MYP Coordinator, John has expertly overseen the implementation and ongoing development of this programme at Kristin School. John's leadership of the Year 10 learning programme requires a detailed knowledge of the NCEA, with a significant number of students undertaking these subjects. As a result, John has developed significant expertise in both the MYP and NCEA, demonstrating strong administrative ability working within dual curricula/ learning philosophies. As a member of the Middle School Management Team, John is an active and insightful contributor whose knowledge of learning and curriculum are held in the highest esteem. John has been seconded to the Kristin Internal Review Committee, which independently appraises different elements of the learning programme as part of the school's commitment to ongoing improvement. In this capacity, John deploys his significant analytical ability to dissect learning experiences and provide recommendations for improvement. I have no hesitation in commending John Osborne to you.
