  I am responsible for business development and operational management for the North East team. I lead a team including Tutors, Sports Coaches and Coordinators, and contribute strategically to drive Sport Works forward in the sector and growing our reputation and size.I have overall responsibility with obtaining new contracts and partnerships which are structured to improve health, wellbeing and educational standards throughout the region.   I was responsible for the delivery of various programmes and festivals to primary schools, secondary schools, rugby clubs and community groups within the North East. A large part of this role was to make sure the longevity of the programmes were secured and this is achieved by having excellent rapport and relationships with partners and key organisations linked to the programmes. I made sure monitoring and evaluation of programmes are captured and any development points are actioned to enhance the delivery of courses.
