Hospice is a place of shelter. It is my honor to be part of a comprehensive team who sits with those in crisis providing that needed shelter. I assure spiritual assessments are made and appropriate interventions are rendered in a timely manner. I provide direct spiritual care to patients and families/caregivers. Public Speaker/Teacher Through research and reflection, I synthesize complicated concepts into engaging content. Through writing, editing and rehearsing I regularly prepare interesting oral presentations. Employing best practices among adult learners, in smaller groups, I draw out deeper thinking leading to better understanding. Fiscal Tracking expenditures, staying within the bounds of cash flow, I keep the organization operating within the budget. Without increasing the budget, I manage the fiscal process moving the organization from indebtedness to surplus. Communicating regularly with donors, through written, oral and electronic means, I tell stories of how the organization is making a difference in the lives of people.
