  I acted as the driving force behind a consultancy focused on delivering the insights and advisory services that enabled small businesses and startups to increase operational capabilities, drive growth, and improve performance. Interviewed personnel across all levels, analyzed performance data, facilitated focus groups/workshops, etc. Leveraged insights gained to create in-depth roadmaps outlining key changes necessary to take organizational performance to new levels of success.   This was an exciting opportunity, when I innovated and designed a brand new healthcare model focused on medical devices and implant products for use in orthopedics, neurology, cardiothoracic, cardiology, and specialty surgical procedures. It was the first business model of its kind to change the way hospitals and healthcare did business within one of the most challenging and costliest of areas within hospital expenditures. Engaged with law firms and government agencies to ensure the model complied with healthcare regulatory guidelines. Among my achievements, I... Attained the $1M to build the business entity from scratch, created/aligned a series of incentives for surgeons, hospitals, and major device manufacturers, and negotiated all pricing to maximize value and market position. Negotiated contracts directly with hospital administrators and medical device companies to build a network of strategic partners, eventually growing healthcare membership to include 60+ hospitals, 135+ surgical centers, and 150+ physicians. After starting with $0, the company became a major force in the Hospital/Medical Surgical market, delivering approximately $60M in sales within seven years. Received national recognition in multiple publications as well as within the medical surgery business for being a leader in changing and impacting the crucial market.
