John is an innovative, accomplished manager. His drive and enthusiasm for delivering improvements / projects is second to none. I have great admiration for John, and his ability to produce results, often within very tight timelines. I would recommend John wholeheartedly for project work, change management, performance improvement, and people & resource management.

John ensured the efficient set-up of the temporary and permanent test centres to which I was posted and he managed staff, premises and resources extremely efficiently and reliably. It was great to know the right equipment would always be in the right place at the right time! He is also a very approachable manager and was always ready to take action when we needed anything.

As Branch Manager I was responsible for the day to day operation, performance and compliance with the contracts we delivered in Hull. I successfully built up the branch and developed an effective team from a standing start. I had budget responsibility and during my three years I worked within budget. I managed a team of 9 employment advisors and one branch coordinator and we worked with people who have a disability or health condition in order to get them into employment. Many of the candidates required development of soft skills and we ran a number of modules that increased those skills whilst actively seeking employment for them. Under my leadership over 350 people were placed into employment.
