Bio
Karen Carr Keefe
John Curtin is a bright young journalist with the motivation, skills and initiative to do well in the profession. He was a very capable intern during his time at the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal in 2011, and as a staff we benefited from his hard work and enthusiasm. He was resourceful in bringing new ideas to the table and helped us greatly in both daily news coverage and in researching special projects, such as the 10th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11. He progressed as a reporter during his months with us, and showed that he is willing to learn and enhance his skills.
