Managed the update of the County All-Hazard Reduction Plan. Oversaw the update and expansion of the Lycoming County’s Automated Flood Warning System. Assisted citizens and public officials with flood insurance / disaster recovery issues as well as organized the County’s post-flood public damage assessment team. Wrote grant applications for, and managed several acquisition projects funded by the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. (T.S. Lee HMGP grant award total was in excess of $5.8 million for 37 property acquisitions). Provided technical review for local floodplain managers throughout Lycoming County. Served as Flood Coordinator in the Lycoming County Emergency Operations Center. Disseminated hazard mitigation and floodplain management information through local and regional news outlets and speaking engagements at the local, regional, and state level including the PAFPM annual conference, PSATS, and the Central Section Chapter of the PA-APA
