  I have achieved a long-time goal of focusing exclusively on growing our planned giving program. We recently passed the one hundred planned gifts milestone as part of a just-completed capital campaign.

  I oversaw and worked as a team member of a four-person development staff at Carolina Friends School. CFS is a Quaker Pre-K through 12 independent school with 500 students. CFS was begun in 1962 as one of the very first schools in the South to embody a policy of racial integration. Since joining the staff we have exceeded our annual fund goals in each year. This has been gratifying as our goals have increased by over 100% in the last six years. We have also exceeded $4 million goal for a capital campaign that ended in 2008. The campaign was our first endowment-focused capital campaign. In 2010/11, I added half-time responsibility for planned giving. We have reached our goal over one hundred planned gifts identified or recently made as a part of our most recent capital campaign. Show less

  I was hired by Amy Holloway to be Interact's first Development Director. I was also the first man employed by this county-wide domestic violence and sexual assault agency.
