I leverage my atmospheric science background with my focus on data sciences and GIS to build auto-refreshing web dashboards, develop ETL's for large data ingestion, run spatial analyses with open source code, develop advanced scripting tools, functions, and libraries for decision making processes. I build, maintain, and host databases

I act to apply updates and corrections to our global weather grid surface, implement alternative sources of weather data, create historical climate data for a global grid surface, create data packages to run daily jobs, and implement new procedures to enhance our weather grid data surface. I also develop new error tracking algorithms, bias correction algorithms, and blended rain rate surfaces, in addition to modifying currently existing interpolation methods. Create new applications based on new agricultural and meteorological mapping techniques, create and manage databases, write python scripts to extract specific agricultural data, write python code to create new toolbox features in ArcMap, work as a GIS analyst with Dr. John Anderson and Dr. Barry Goodwin (turning ideas into a plan of work and eventually into a final product).

Heavily modified a new tornado measuring technique (Fujita Miles); created a new database tracking the tornado damage potential, developed a new latitude/longitude technique of measuring the daily tornado outbreak damage potential, wrote over a dozen new python scripts to create ArcMap statistical tools (time series, regression models, correlation), created a new tool to create up to 100 raster files simultaneously from a NETCDF file, including the ability to create a time series, envelope, and core from a time series, correlate tornado outbreak location on teleconnection patterns and the change of a pattern leading into an event.
