Store Manager

Mar 2017 - Apr 2019
Took on a red store for a well-known established company has been a challenging but very rewarding opportunity which I have been privileged to have lead. The store was not only in financial difficulty but also had low staff morale, was failing asset protection and was trading at -20% LFL. In the short time I have been there I have made big contributions in influencing a quick turnaround towards company strategy. I have not only retained all staff members but have got us trading +5% and passed the last asset protection assessment by 100%. Overseeing a system we use called ‘my schedule’ this operates staff Rota’s, clocking in and out procedures, payroll and the weekly forecasting of the business due to changes in the higher management structure. I monitor this closely on a daily basis to make sure we are not overspending on labor hours and that we are meeting daily targets whilst planning what hours are needed for processing deliveries and launching sales, promos etc. Show less
