Project Management: Oversight of Health and Safety for $6M new production line installation within the facility with 0 injuries. Project includes:• Management of Change• Contractor Safety: Reviewed and approved 12 contractors H&S programs along with required insurance. Conducted Contractor Safety Orientation with each before any work would be conducted. • Machine Guarding: Reviewed all machinery before purchased to determine machine guarding requirements. As line developed, conducted machine guarding assessment. • Ergonomics: Reviewed and developed cell layouts/procedures to reduce ergonomic risk. • Lock Out Tag Out: Worked with maintenance team to write and verify LOTO procedures for each piece of machinery. • Job Safety Analysis: Developed JSA’s with supervisors of new line and employees responsible for each station. Training: Updated and revised new hire orientation slide deck along with implementing new process for safe introduction onto the shop floor. Successfully on boarded 35 new hires with 0 injuries to date.Strategic Development: Developed 2017 Injury Reduction plan through analytical trend analysis. Presented plan to facility mangers, H&S managers, and company VP and President.
