John Goodman is the rare designer who is successful at big-picture concept work, design AND pre-press. He is a skilled, creative and effective Graphic Designer. His design style is fresh and clean, and he is an expert production artist. He is my reference point for any technical problem I have. What also impresses me is his attention to detail and his desire to remain current in software updates and his application of new ideas to his work. I worked with him at Augsburg Fortress Publishing, first when he was a freelance designer and then when we had the pleasure to hire him as a designer on staff. He is an asset to any project.

Insightful. Creative. Gets It. As manager of the Program and Project Management team at Augsburg Fortress, I had the pleasure to work with John on a good number of projects over the course of three years. His work (design) is insightful, creative, and effective--he just plain gets it. John has been at the top and remains so on my Designer Short List.
