John was my supervisor within the ZEPS department at Complete Coach Works. I was learning how to build batteries and electrical components for busses and trams, and it was a pleasure to do that work under John. He was patient with my numerous questions, deeply knowledgeable of the reasoning behind design and engineering decisions, and excellent at getting the answers and materials we needed. I also witnessed his creativity in finding ingenious and aesthetically-pleasing solutions to production obstacles. For instance, he frequently made tools for specific situations, and built jigs to simplify repeated processes. He also maintained high standards for the products of our department, and was good at training and delegating tasks to help his team build their skills. I am glad to have had John as a supervisor.

I’ve had the privilege to work under and alongside John during this role as ZEPS Production Supervisor. When I first came into the department, I knew nothing about electrical components that goes on a bus. But John was very helpful and patient with me. John is very knowledgeable and knows very well the things that he knows. This has proven to be very helpful as he is able and very good at teaching and passing on knowledge that would help me excel at my job. Despite how busy John will be, is willing and able to take the time to answer all my questions. John also knows how to challenge his team due to his eye and ability to create an excellent product. John is someone who works very well between the business and R&D teams making their jobs a lot easier. Jon is also very creative in finding solutions that no only solve the problem but solves it well. John is such a pleasure to work with and you know you’re team will do well when you have someone as reliable as John on your team.
