Lead Driver - Providing clients with test data requested to make improvements and/or changes to vehicle design, functionality, comfort, durability, reliability and value of pre-production cars. Supervise as many as 10 individuals and responsible for as much as 1/2 million dollars worth of cars daily. • Provide training to new drivers, and ongoing training to current staff. • Make sure that standards are met and understood by each of the drivers at the start of each contract and notify them of any modifications during the contract. • Provide written & electronic data to client at the end of each driving session • Verify reports are complete and correct prior to delivery to clients • Drive each vehicle through the prescribed course to capture data requested by the client • Report any system/component failures to the client immediately to determine course of action to be taken. • Drive vehicles to other test facilities located throughout the US to allow testing in various climates and conditions.

Heavily involved in two specific research and development projects. One for the City of Colorado Springs, and one for the US Air Force in Colorado Springs. Responsible for day to day assignments for the staff, procurement of components and worked closely with design team in development of instruments not yet in existence. Assisted with the development of a training manual to ensure proper use of the instruments during the testing phase. Traveled to remote sites to train end users and monitor interaction between operations and equipment. Obtained a DOD security clearance in order to perform on-site work with the US Air Force.
