  Since joining Ferguson & Co I have predominantly been dealing litigation in the County Court and High Court. I act most frequently on behalf of insurers and self insured companies but also regularly act on behalf of Claimants, particularly in commercial disputes. Areas of particular interest and experience in defence litigation include: -Environmental Claims -Personal Injuries; -Asbestos and Disease relates cases; -Property Damage; -Indemnity Refusal cases; -Animal cases; -Motor cases I regularly act on behalf of Claimants in the following areas of litigation: -Environmental Cases, with an emphasis on oil spills; -Indemnity Refusal cases; -Property Damage; -Debt Recovery. Related to civil defence litigation, I frequently am instructed to appear in the Magistrates' and the Crown Court to defend charges brought in animal and health and safety prosecutions. In addition to adversarial litigation, I have been involved in two major Public Inquires in Northern Ireland. Show less
