I worked with John very closely on a new product introduction and I have seen him work miracles fitting square pegs into round holes. As an Electrical Engineer, I have limited knowledge about such things as interference, tolerance analysis, and CAD drawing. But whenever I needed a mechanical solution for an electrical component (e.g. physical placement, bracket mounting), I could always count on John to understand the ask very quickly, and come up with a draft solution in short order. He is one of those engineers that runs on automatic in high gear, seamlessly picks up on nuance, great at peeking around corners, doesn’t need to be asked anything twice, and is an absolute pleasure to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with John at Amazon Lab126, where he was an asset for our team and a wonderful mentor to me. John upholds high standards and serves as a role model with his unwavering professionalism. He is a rock star mechanical engineer and an expert in consumer electronics development. He excels at guiding and supporting others as a mentor, going above and beyond to foster a positive learning environment. His dedication and drive are remarkable, as he consistently delivers exceptional results and exhibits a strong work ethic. With a keen eye for detail, John ensures that all deliverables are of the highest quality, enhancing overall efficiency. His technical expertise and innovative problem-solving abilities make him a valuable asset to any team. Beyond his professional attributes, John is known for his friendly and approachable nature, creating a collaborative work environment. It has been a pleasure working alongside John, and I have no doubt that he will continue to thrive and make significant contributions in his future roles.
