Marathon Oil Project – Kenedy, TX (July 2012 – August 2015) • Designed and supervised construction of gathering facility designed to handle 30,000 barrels of oil and 80 MMCF of gas per day. • Designed and installed 10 Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) reduction systems and 10 RVP analyzer systems at existing facilities. Systems consisted of: pumps, heaters, vapor recovery towers, tanks and analyzers. • Designed chassis layouts and I/O lists for facility PLC (Allen Bradley ControlLogix) from facility P&IDs. • Designed card layouts and I/O lists for facility liquid and gas measurement flow computers (Emerson ROC800) • Specified and ordered instruments (pressure, temperature and flow transmitters), PLC’s, PLC cabinets and other equipment for gathering and processing facilities. • Specified and ordered 480V Motor Control Centers based on current and future facility load demands. • Loop checked, tested and commissioned new instruments and control valves, shutdown valves and ESD systems for new facility builds and expansions. • Commissioned startup of new facilities and existing facility expansions. • Participated in design review meetings, PHAs, and other project meetings to provide feedback for any issues that arose. • Engineered solutions to reliability issues that arose with facility instruments.
