  Since joining Omnivend in 2007, I have been responsible for Directing Operations both in the field, and in our Waterford office, ensuring that our network has been performing to the maximum of its ability. In that timeframe I have redesigned our look and customer experience and have sourced our whole new age kiosks which have replaced our older more industrial look. Our kiosks are visible in every county, all over Ireland, from our international airports, to all major retailers nationwide.   My role here entailed numerous roles including all field splicing of fibreoptic cables in the Greater Boston Area. We built Fibre loops that numbered 864 fibres right down to 4 fibres per cable. Prior to splicing I needed to organise all traffic details to ensure proper health and safety rules were adhered to at all times. Post splicing there was a rigorous testing routine on each fibre from end to end bilaterally.
