I currently teach AP U.S. History, AP European History and United States History. The AP classes are college level curriculum and pacing adopted by and accepted by College Board. I have been invited six times and in 2021 read for the fifth time for the AP European History Exam. With 13 years experience in manufacturing prior to teaching full time I have also taught Manufacturing Tech in the CTE department which focuses on welding, forging, sheet metal and metal lathe processes. I have taught Western Civilization, new in the fall of 2016, a sophomore level class that focuses on the rise of western civilization. I have also taught Consumer Economics which is a senior level personal finance class meant to train students how to manage and protect their money. In the past at PCHS I have also taught Global Studies, GSP Metals and Computer Controlled Machining.

    • Machinist
      • Feb 1995 - Aug 2009

I was a CNC machinist at Multax where we produced a variety of metal work using computer controlled machines. I ran both large vertical lathes and horizontal mills. I would run production jobs and unique items that would transform a piece of metal from blue print to finished part.
