Other parts of the role included attending weekly review meetings with the construction company Galliford Try and representatives of the Local Education Authority, my role reported directly to the Commercial Manager for the contract.Achievements during my time in this role included reducing monthly penalty deductions from around £14,000 to £3000 as well as raising employee awareness throughout the contract of the need for correct and timely reporting of events which in turn actually reduced the number of events being logged per month from 200 to 120.During my time with Amey I also spent 18 months working as a caretaker at one of the secondary schools and 12 months as a site manager at another secondary school gaining invaluable experience in both roles.
