  Unipart Rail is at the forefront of Innovation for both Infrastructure and Trainborne equipment. As Project Manager for the Innovation department I am responsible for managing the development of New Projects from design, through development, testing and Product Acceptance to meet Quality, Cost and Time (QCT) targets, to enable the equipment to be sold as fully Approved Products. Some of the the main duties include Producing Project Plans Writing technical documentation to support Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) reviews and Network Rail Product Acceptance submissions Managing Network Product Acceptance activities Meeting clients to discuss current and future developments and looking at the development of products specific to their requirements. Recent products I have successfully managed through the Network Rail Product Acceptance process include Plug & play Interconnects & Leads, Plug & Play Disconnection Boxes and Plug & Play Break out Boxes for testing. I am currently managing a range of products through Product Acceptance to support Unipart Rails PowerU range of products inline with Network Rail's Power requirements. Show less
