I designed and implemented the new AVCE course whilst closing the GNVQ course. I co-ordinated and lead the performing arts staff, whilst teaching students and acting as their personal tutor. I reported constantly to my line manager on progress and presented monthly reports/updates of progress and problems that arose. I created the majority of administration work and records that are still in use today. My teaching duties included theatre production and stage craft whilst monitoring and assessing student progress during productions. During this time I worked on over 200 theatre productions. This involved designing set, lighting and producing sound effects tapes and writing music for productions. It also included designing and building theatre sets. I was responsible for the ordering/hiring equipment for shows, the overall equipment maintenance and stock control.
