As a property manager for the Tiehen Group, I handle the daily operations of a real estate investment. I am the property owner's partner in maximizing the return on investment of the property through efficient performance of these four functional areas of responsibility: Marketing and Financial, Tenant and Occupancy, Facility Management, and Administration and Risk Management. As property manager, I act in the best interests of the owner to maintain the property, keep it occupied with tenants, collect rents, budget improvements and maintain records. The Tiehen Group is a professional management and brokerage company located in Leawood, Kansas that specializes in the management of office buildings, homes associations and apartments throughout the greater Kansas City area. The company oversees more than 100 properties, consisting of more than 1,500 apartment units, 50 homeowner/condominium associations (comprised collectively of 6,000 units and 500,000 square feet of office buildings). The Tiehen Group’s philosophy is to manage each property as if it was their own.
