Created and implemented a product development strategy for IE's PEM fuel cells and hydrogen production technologies, by matching customer pull and technology readiness. Grew the engineering and service team from 26 to over 100, developing prototype and pre-production products in the automotive, distributed generation and aerospace sectors, for clients including SSE, Air Liquide, Airbus and Boeing. Developed the team as an engineering unit by implementing processes and skills product development and certification, leading DfM and integration with the manufacturing supply chain. Ultimately achieving formal accreditation to ISO 9001. Foccusing on distributed generation, led development of proof of concept products including extensive successful field trials in India, using a bespokedigital asset management system, which enabled prototypes to deliver exceptional levels of availability.

Responsible for the P&L and cash performance of £120M gas turbine support contract for RN and NATO navies. Led a joint RN-contractor IPT and implemented new fleet-management and overhaul processes to improve engine availability and drive down cost of ownership.
