I served as an Intern to the technology departments of BOCES including Helpdesk, LAN, WAN, VoIP, and WLAN. My duties included troubleshooting and resolving issues with PCs, printers, faxes, docking stations, monitors, and servers. I also provide phone, in-house and out-house support to employees in school districts all over the state. - When moving from Novell to Windows, performed over 200 manual switches to the new domain. - Set up over 10 computer labs in different school districts. - Rewired LAN cables in a drop ceiling. - When BOCES moved locations, worked overtime to help set up the new server room with over 100 servers, including mounting them on the racks, organizing them on a spreadsheet, and labeling them. - Mastered Windows 7, XP and MacOS. - Fully supported Berne-Knox-Westerlo school district for a week by myself.
