      I was a software engineer in a multi-cultural team (split between UK, Poland & India) that is aligned to M&G Wealth (formerly Prudential Financial Planning). My main skillset in this team is IRESS Xplan configuration/development/API integration, however I am also gaining knowledge and experience in more traditional software/web development (microservices, java, javascript, spring, API, Azure). My main duties currently include: -Xplan system configuration/administration -Xplan Template and Wizard customisation -Working with the Delivery Lead, Tech Lead, Business Analyst, Feature Owner and other senior stakeholders in an agile fashion ensuring quick and reliable delivery of changes requested. -API SME for Xplan to the wider M&G Wealth studio -Debug & implement small change requests to our web-based charges calculator (Javascript) -Debug & implement small changes to various microservices linked to Xplan (Java) -Smoke testing for both Xplan only and microservice integration releases in production -Prior to feature delivery; lead and work with users through UAT to ensure system enhancement/changes meet the needs and requirements of users. -The configuration and changing of numerous XMERGE documents while also facilitating changes into our custom Suitability Report which is a coded output. -Deliver ad-hoc Xplan training to studio members as required Show less

      I was promoted to the Operations Consultant role within Prudential Financial Planning (PFP). In this role I was awarded various internal awards for the work I had produced while working in the team. I was responsible for a wide array of tasks, ranging from Project Management & Implementation and model office testing to Business process creation, documentation and developing MI to be used by PFP Senior Sales Managers, Directors and CEO.Remuneration - I was responsible for helping manage and maintain the adviser facing & senior management remuneration schemes within PFP. My key responsibilities within the role were: regular production of scorecards which allow finance to accurately pay bonus, maintenance of the remuneration scheme documentation and working directly with the CEO of PFP, the Financial Planning & Strategy Director and other senior stakeholders to help bring the vision and direction of the numerous schemes to life.Projects – I have also provided SME and UAT resource to numerous projects within PFP. Some key highlights would be the creation of a partially automated new case tracker for the Defined Benefit Team, along with the creation and regular production of MI for Senior Management in order to provide visibility on the process and help them make decisions on whether or not restrictions could be lifted, and UAT testing on the Go Pru mobile app. Other notable projects include: FRP Migration, Benefit in kind tax, The introduction of Online Annuity quotes, UAT & Process Documentation on the Xplan system when it was initially implemented and both the testing and creating specifications for Qlikview MI reports.
