As president, I lead the club through a variety of bold actions. I was the primary organizer of the club's leadership, recommending positions for my members that best suited their skills and assigning committees for tasks based on who would work best together and get the job done. I have been in charge of doing all of the club paperwork, making sure all deadlines are completed weeks or months in advance. I am also the most active recruiter in the club, tripling the size of the club after my first year and am on pace to triple the size of the club again over the course of this year. In times where the protests against my club may have become a threat, I made sure to take the necessary steps to prevent harm being done to my club members, whether that meant coordinating my events with the campus police or shutting the event down if we predicted potential violence. I also lead the meetings proactively, both generating the topics of the meeting and ensuring that we stay on topic and productive throughout. I also do the majority of media relations for the club, as I have done multiple radio, television and newspaper interviews over the course of the year. In my tenure as president of the club, I have transformed it from a small club with few leaders and passive members to a large club, with many leaders each with a specific role and many enthusiastic and active members.

At Smittens I was responsible for a variety of duties as part of a team that run the shop. The typical duty freezing the ice cream with liquid nitrogen and scoop out their ice cream and add toppings for each individual order. I also managed the cash register on certain days and that role included answering customers questions and recommending flavors and toppings.
