I had the pleasure of working with John on a number of projects during my time in DCU. John was an avid worker who always brought the best out in people, not only inside the class room but outside also. John had the ability to work to the concept known in business as "white space management". By this I mean, John could adapt and was flexible in his workings. No matter difficulty faced him in group projects whether it be from an academic or a personal issues, John always found ways to adapt and overcome to help the team succeed.
