  For over 25 years I have been involved in a Service Role within various educational establishments and sectors. In my early working life I was involved in the Leisure Industry, namely several prestigious UK Casino Groups, Including Playboy and Ladbrokes, firstly as a Croupier, then as an Inspector, supervising staff, games of chance, and money transactions After being made redundant, I undertook a career change into Facilities and Health and Safety Management, and I have now been employed in a Facilities role since 1991, steadily working my way up the ladder to a position on the Senior Leadership Team at Haringey Sixth Form, and have held several other Senior/HOD positions. I believe my rise “through the ranks” demonstrates my ability to listen, learn and progress. As part of my learning curve I have undertaken several relevant qualifications and hold the NEBOSH General Certificate, I have completed a University endorsed Human Resource Management Course, and an ACE (Advanced Continuing Education Certificate) in Management Studies from the same University (Dundee), as well as several risk assessment courses including fire risk I also hold an Associate Membership to CMI (Chartered Managers Institute) I am a Fellow of the IWFM
