      • Aug 2011 - Apr 2013

Energized, focused and drove the planning, design and delivery of the Network Infrastructure at TD's newly constructed Disaster Recovery (DR) Data Centre. With overall executive accountability, lead a team of approximately 25 individuals and successfully delivered a $38MM program ahead of schedule and on budget.Working with a truly outstanding team of project management leaders and technical experts, together we overcame numerous challenges (both technical and non-technical), held firm to our dates and Delivered as committed to the organization which was critical to keeping the overall Program timelines on track ($340MM Program). Was initially inserted to stabilize and rescue the network stream of the Disaster Recovery (DR) Data Centre Program. Immediately installed a Program Management Process, systematically organized, and structured the team and instilled an enhanced level of discipline and Delivery focus. This is one of my favourite roles I have had in my career to date. The team we built was simply outstanding... a high performing group of individuals who were comfortable being held accountable and exhibited high levels of pride of ownership. Team - wouldn't have gotten through this one without each and everyone of you. Thanks! Show less

    • Sr. IT Manager - Project Management Office (PMO)
      • Jan 2010 - Jul 2011

Upon rejoining TD after spending seven (7) years at IBM, I moved into a Sr. Manager role and was given the mandate to build and establish a Project Management Office (PMO) to service the newly repatriated Network Services organization from IBM.Over the course of eighteen (18) months the PMO scaled from one (1) Project Manager to a team of approximately twenty-five (25). In addition to recruiting and building a hand-picked team of Project Leaders, the team had also built and installed a rich set of industry best practice processes and procedures to effectively manage, track and report on a project book consisting of approximately 20 concurrent projects valued at approximately $10MM in annual spend (P&L)).This was a great role as it allowed me to continue to build on my Leadership & People Management skills along with mastering both the art and science of Project Management.
