  John Alan Jones is the founding member and managing partner of Martin & Jones, where he has worked since he began practicing law in 1982. John Alan began his practice representing workers with occupational diseases caused by toxic chemicals and cotton dust. His practice expanded to include defective pharmaceuticals and harmful medical devices. He represented more than one thousand woman injured by the Dalkon Shield IUD. John Alan continues to devote a large percentage of his practice to representing people catastrophically injured by medical negligence, defective pharmaceuticals, toxic substances or other negligence. He also devotes a significant amount of his work time to consumer class action litigation. He served as lead counsel on behalf of thousands of consumers settling class actions against Bank of America ($38.7 million) and CitiBank ($42.5 million).
