Advances in technology were changing the shape of the industry, the growth of the private rental sector called for a multi-disciplined approach, whilst dealing with challenges such as the 2008 recession. The core philosophy underpinning the success of the company was based upon building teams with excellent local expertise supported by market leading technology and marketing. It was a principle that worked well as illustrated by not only a fee income approaching £5m per annum but also softer measures like a high level of staff retention. Recruiting personality and then having a varied and interesting development programme led to loyal, committed self-regulating teams doing their best for their clients. Show less
