In 2017, I became CEO of 160over90, a branding agency specializing in strategic positioning, brand building, and the development of compelling creative work to propel companies further. 160over90's portfolio spans across professional sports, higher education, CPG, healthcare, et al. Prior to my tenure as CEO, 160over90 was first independently owned-- and then became majority owned by Searchlight Capital in February 2016. In January 2018, I led the acquisition of 160over90 from Searchlight Capital to Endeavor (the global entertainment/cultural powerhouse previously known as WME | IMG) for a reported $250M. Throughout 2018, I worked with Endeavor to fully integrate 160over90 into Endeavor Global Marketing while also expanding 160over90's footprint to Los Angeles and Columbus, Ohio. I created the roadmap to evolve 160over90 from a "branding and marketing services agency" to a "solutions company" that is strategically focused, results driven, and data led. The outputs of such have included bolstered areas of expertise in brand strategy, design thinking, brand management, portfolio management, higher education M&A strategy, and business intelligence... not to mention significant growth.Over the past 6+ years at 160over90, I co-authored the higher education branding book, "Three and a Triage," and have been a routine speaker at higher education marketing conferences (American Marketing Association, American Council on Education, and Association of Public and Land-grant Universities), a presentation speaker at Endeavor's "WME 2018 Farmhouse Retreat," and a panel speaker for both investment bank JEGI and the Bank of Montreal's (BMO) "Back to School" conference.
