To Whom It May Concern It is my great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Mr. John Zaremba a truly trusted colleague and friend whom I have known for over a decade. John has provided leadership in various key positions at CPI ranging from finance, to business process director to general manager of the entire CPI business and also been a key member of the leadership team that delivered on installation of SAP (from Great Plains), two acquisitions which were seamlessly integrated and delivered paybacks at half the projected time. His leadership skills, broad experience, practical approach to problem solving and analytical thinking that is financially driven is a definitive asset to any company and I personally have benefitted from his counsel as I progressed in my career. In this letter I want to highlight John’s leadership ability in initiating drive and executing on projects of significant value. First of all John’s activities are done with the best interest of CPI, its employees and customers in mind Vs. putting himself as a beneficiary. His leadership at CPI was instrumental in leading to many completed projects and one of the key elements of success was his drive to utilized simple tools that bring discipline to the project. He initiated an important yet non-bureaucratic project charter, ROI, action plan approach to accomplish this. Some of the notable creative ideas included the initiation of a project management system to handle our complexity, the concept of flexible packaging and the idea of an on-line trading interface and several major capital projects related to safety, plant expansion, R&D and manufacturing infrastructure upgrades. John spent a major portion of his career in finance leadership positons which has given him a terrific understanding of finance based decision making. Since he also managed the CPI business, as General Manager, and also managed payroll and HR he has a unique understanding and insight on a combination skillset that is difficult to find yet is so critical for business success. Last but not the least John’s leadership style involves using a team approach in which he focuses on engaging the most capable people, providing them with a clear vision and coaching them to succeed. His style is always engaging and brining out the best of a team. Aside from this team focus at work, John is a highly respected member of the Midland community due to his coaching for youth football team and the robotics team and initiating and leading a highly effective community outreach program at CPI. Please do not hesitate to contact me on my cellphone at 9899418292 if you wish to get further feedback on Mr. John Zaremba. Joseph L. Nigro Global Business Manager CPI Fluid Engineering 2300 James Savage Midland, MI 48642 989-948-7827 July 17, 2017 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter as a reference for John Zaremba. I worked with John for 18 years at CPI Fluid Engineering, a global supplier of industrial, specialty lubricants. I found John to be a dedicated co-worker with a strong work ethic, who will be greatly missed at CPI. During my tenure at CPI I observed John serving in two major roles. As Comptroller, John supported our commercial growth activities allowing sales and marketing to add new business and business processes. During this time period, CPI grew annually 5-7%. John was a key interface between CPI and our parent company, Lubrizol, helping secure financing for our new business ventures. Later, as General Manager, I reported directly to John, and found him to be an effective leader who provided the internal and external resources needed to meet our annual business goals. In this role John coordinated technical, supply chain, and customer service support for our business on a global basis, with a special emphasis on sales growth in Asia. He was a good sounding board for new ideas and someone you could count on to provide accurate data and feed back. John was someone I could count on to follow through on his commitments, and to serve with kindness and integrity. He exhibited this behavior in our community, as well, through his commitment to youth sports and involvement with the local high school robotics program. John is well liked in our community, and within the CPI family. I would recommend John without reservation. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information. I look forward to talking with you further about John. Sincerely, Joe Nigro Global Sales Manager, Refrigeration Products
