      Our lab studies the mechanisms underlying CD8+ T cell differentiation. Specifically, we are interested in two homologous T-box transcription factors; T-bet and Eomesodermin. Our goal is to elucidate the distinct roles of these transcription factors in influencing CD8+ T cell effector and memory fate decisions. To this end, we employ several tumor and infectious disease models to study the contribution of T-bet and Eomes to T cell responses in vivo.
