      Projekt “DKV Korea” (Seoul, South Korea) of ERGO Group AG formerly “DKV - Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG”. The ERGO planned the market entry of a DKV Branch in Seoul to offer private health insurance to South Korea. I was asked if I would like to go there to prepare the marked entry and to be responsible for everything related to the claims department. E.g.: • Set up of all claims processes • Set up of interfaces (e.g. between claims, underwriting, policy administration, accounting) • Developing tariffs • Working and planning on the core system and giving advice to the programming staff • Hiring staff members for the claims department • Creating of standard correspondence • Advices on all claim subjects to the Board • Working on the Business plan for the market entry After all the work was done the market entry was cancelled due to a political change in South Korea and a new president was elected who was not open minded for a private health insurance sector in South Korea Show less
