  This job had facets of data analysis, industrial controlling and project management:• Provided ad hoc analyses to inform the business line management team in their decision making, both by written reports as well as Power BI dashboarding,• Was in the lead for controlling and successful external auditing of the Large Industries CO2 emissions (representing 1 promille of overall global emissions),• Managed the project to migrate the industrial reporting tool as well as underlying BI systems from a SQL on-premise server to AWS and Azure clouds. The Data Analyst position allowed me to connect to the 500 production sites across 80 countries as well as the corporate departments for sustainability, safety, IT and business performance. This exposure motivated me to take on an Executive MBA program.

One of the main activities was to align internal and customer stakeholders regarding planning, incident resolution, monthly invoicing and crisis management.   A diverse role that fully engaged me into the operational reality and great team spirit of the Pernis cogeneration facility. I was in the lead of plant improvement projects, economical feasibility studies, incident and efficiency analyses. In 2014 I got the opportunity to take the shared operational lead of the plants’ major overhaul, a turnaround that we completed on time and within budget. Participated in the Air Liquide Leading Excellence graduate program and got expatriated for 3 months to the Business Control department of Air Liquide Germany.
