Elanders is a multinational printing doing business in more than 10 countries with 5000 employees. The production plant in China service clients such as SONY, Volvo, IKEA and Mercedez. Following a presentation for Elanders in 2012, I was hired out of school to move to China and establish a personalized printing subsidiary. Together with legal consultants and a small team达拉马 DALAHÄST was successfully established in 2013. As project manager, I was responsible for a team of graphic designers and business developers to develop the brand, products and marketing material as well as conducting day to day sales activities through out Beijing. The team was managed in mandarin and all employees were Chinese, communication with HR and Financial departments were also mainly done in mandarin. Achievements: • Established a retail business in Beijing • Successfully designed, built and implemented a web shop (http://www.dalama.cn/ currently not accessible) with a functioning order and delivery system. • Recruitment and staff management • Managing a team of 6 designers, sales staff and administrative employees as well as a varying amount of employees in production. 达拉马 DALAHÄST was closed down in 2015 due to liquidity issues of the mother company. As manager of the project, I was responsible for closing down the subsidiary and letting the employees go. Show less
