I support under-represented students, both personally and professionally in a four-year programme. Tasks include reviewing extra-curricular academic pieces of work, preparing lessons in the Arts and Humanities sphere and providing detailed feedback for extra GCSE support. In the summer season, I lead school residential trips with students aged 14-18 years old, whilst supervising Open Day trips with partner universities. During the residential trips, I plan my own lessons on less accessible topics such as Ancient Greek Philosophy and Mythology, ensuring students have the opportunity to explore new subjects.

Working as a Business Development Representative for a budding tech start-up, my main goal was to spark interest in the recruitment industry. With a clearer focus on diverse and inclusive hiring, I spoke to prospects daily about the barriers they faced when hiring remotely. Through my daily outreach via Hubspot and Outreach, I sourced and identified potential leads to communicate with. Having customer conversations about Screenloop's artificial hiring intelligence tools, I was able to better understand the issues in recruitment that revolved around age, gender and race.

As a previous SMF student, I volunteered to be the Campus Lead at King's College London. During the pandemic year of 2020, I created online group chats for other SMF King's students via WhatsApp and Instagram. In this role, I organised and planned safe in-person meet-ups for students during term time. Therefore, creating a friendly network of over 30 students, providing a fun way to interact with other students during remote learning. As a previous SMF student, I volunteered to be the Campus Lead at King's College London.
