Johanna was an integral part of the Catie's Cause team during her internship. As the youngest member of our team (a freshman) she gained valuable insights and was equally on in terms of her contributions. Gaining internships takes perseverance and confidence, especially as a freshman. Succeeding in an internship as a freshman while juggling success at school, home, personal and more seemed to come easily to Johanna. She is a pleasure to work with, was communicative, didn't shy from offering ideas or volunteering to assist in whatever ways were needed. During her time at Catie's Cause she helped summarize some current tips for growing engagement with social media followers, presented and then volunteered to run a Give Away campaign. The campaign was successful and helped to not only engage our existing base but also helped to grow our following. That was in addition to her contributions in creation of posts for our social pages. When an organization is 100% volunteer and intern run, you need to rely heavily on the talent and contributions of the intern team. Johanna contributed in meaningful ways and I'm sure she has a very bright future ahead and much success on the horizon.
