The Land & Logistic Unit deals with the full spectrum of capability development from R&T aspects, Capability Development, procurement up to the operational support as well as conceptual work. As a Head of Unit I am responsible for managing the team by setting priorities to optimise the workload, providing guidance and improving relevant skills and knowledge of the staff. I focus on ensuring coherence of activities by identifying, promoting and proposing collaborative projects by maintaining management links with all relevant stakeholders. Maximizing synergies within the Unit and all the Agency´s functional areas to facilitate transverse work is an enabling activity to deliver support to pMS in the Land & Logistic domain. Main work strands: - Contributing to the development of EU Capability Development Priorities; - Developing and updating the Strategic Context Cases for the Ground Combat Capabilities as well as the Enhanced Logistics and Medical Support; - exploiting the CARD results to be depicted by three focus areas (Main Battle Tank, Soldier Systems and Enhanced Military Mobility); - programme/project/portfolio management of 2 Cat A programmes, 18 Cat B projects and further 16 activities to prepare new projects; - main programmes/projects: Procurement of Ammunition, Soldier Equipment CBRN Equipment, Military Mobility (Cross-border movement permission, Harmonising Military Requirements related to Customs), Additive Manufacturing, European Centre for Manual Neutralisation Capabilities, Joint Deployable Exploitation and Analysis Laboratory, Personnel Recovery,...
