As Manufacturing Engineer, my responsibilities include: ● Engineer and establish qualified, innovative and flow effective processes and product definition data and support these through change control, continuous maintenance, and improvement. ● Understand and apply engineering procedures in manufacturing processes and methods of production and to integrate the facilities and systems for producing industrial products. ● Provide support to Program RFP process for quotations on new products. ● Review OEM Engineering data and determine Manufacturing Methodology/Philosophy to manufacture within Aerosud facility or Aerosud approved offload sub-contractor facilities. ● Identify Advanced Bill of Material to establish long lead items. ● Establish the framework of a MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Material). ● Establish workflow links to ME team and external interfaces. ● Provide input to Tooling Philosophy & ICY requirements. ● Create Control plans and Conditions of Supply. ● Develop Process routings. ● Interface with client engineering/processes/quality. ● Define part FOD prevention requirements e.g., Packaging, In-process part protection. As FO (Foreign Object) Investigator and Representative, my responsibilities include: ● Responsible to report any FO occurrences. ● Receive and capture occurrences when they are reported. ● Conduct investigations on occurrences that are raised and identify root cause corrective actions as and when required & on FO Prevention Reviews and provide feedback to the FO Committee Leader. ● Monitor open actions to ensure actions are addressed timeously. ● Identify possible trends and take the necessary preventative actions. ● Provide feedback to FO Representatives of investigations & the ork area of investigations that took place. ● Identify potential FOd/FOD. ● Provide guidance to employees in the working area when a possible occurrence is identified.
