  - Manage RFQ’s on sub-component pricing, production tooling, design and development costs, testing costs and all other project related costs - Manage the tender process of all local and international 2nd tier suppliers, paying attention to part price comparisons, timing plan reviews and PPAP documentation for all suppliers - Manage part/component data and BOM’s between European design centre and toolmakers, suppliers and the internal process, quality and purchasing teams - Manage all tooling from design approval by customer to first part approval at supplier - Prepare and manage the project timing plan, incorporating all relevant development and APQP phases to prepare the new product for production readiness within a realistic & customer approved time frame - Manage and coordinate the project from PA (project approval) to SVP (start-of-volume-production), including the maintenance of updated timing plans, coordinating and chairing project review meetings and regular status reporting to the customer during the project life cycle - Manage validation and homologation testing of mirror assemblies in Europe - Conduct fitment & function testing when investigating or creating Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s), deviations and corrective actions - Investigate and feedback on possible cost save options (VAVE’s) for both company and customer - Submit and track quarterly price adjustments due to international forex movements - Continually review the profitability of each project/program and look for ways to improve cost margins of projects/programs - Ensure that all project management related tasks conforms to ISO TS 16949 & VDA 6.4 certification standards Show less
