During my first months here I was set to start the battery lab that was recently installed. This included to prepare test code and discuss that with the costumers. And after that execute the test(s) and deliver the results. I also did a lot of testing for a PhD project at Chalmers. After about two years a project to build a larger battery lab was initiated and I was part of that project. Since I was experienced with battery testing and the process flow in a lab environment I gave input to the project. When the lab was built, or at least the first phase, I started to work with testing. As earlier that included interaction with the customer and discuss test code, instrumentation and a bit of planning of the tests. Due to the larger lab more personnel was needed and I was part of recruiting and train new employed. I also worked with internal R&D projects, both testing and developing of test methods. I have also been invited to seminars as a speaker discussing test methods and test environments for lithium batteries, which I gladly accepted and took as a complement.

I worked at NEVS with battery system development and in a project for building a battery laboratory for the OEM. The assignment at Nevs included requirement engineering and I was working in the battery system team with the components BMS (battery monitoring unit) and battery cell. After Nevs I started at Volvo Cars as a test engineer at the battery laboratory. I worked at NEVS with battery system development and in a project for building a battery laboratory for the OEM. Here I worked with specifications and quotations regarding test equipment for all kinds of batteries, from small research cells to complete battery systems at several hundred volt. I worked as a project leader and gave the documentation to the management team for final decision. Except for testing batteries at the laboratory I worked in several FFI projects (Fordonsteknisk Forskning och Innovation). One of the projects was for example to investigate how similar battery cells should be in a complete system. The FFI projects included many interesting meetings and discussions with both industry and academics.
