While at CBS Radio, I have managed day-to-day operations of CBS Radio Seattle NTR (Non-Traditional Revenue) Department and develop and execute sales programs for signature CBS events, i.e. Beast Mode Challenge, Alaska Hometown Hangar Tailgates. I have established and expanded relationships with outside local event producers to increase the availability of assets to CBS and created custom client programs, integrating onsite, online, on-air, and targeted mobile advertising campaigns to reach the desired consumer. Additionally, I act as the link between the sales and promotions departments, balancing needs and agendas of each, in an effort to maximize integrated events and sponsorship needs. Show less

I was recruited out of college by the Seafair Director of Sales and Marketing to become a critical part of the 2014 team. In this capacity, I enrolled and sold 40+ name-brand and new-to-Seafair exhibitor spaces for all signature Seafair Events, including the Pirates Landing, Seafair Summer Fourth of July Celebration, Seafair Milk Carton Derby and Seafair Torchlight Night (FanFest, Torchlight Run, Torchlight Parade). In addition to general sales and marketing of the 75 official Seafair events, I led the creation and successful implementation of a new festival event during Seafair Weekend: The North Beach Food and Wine Festival. I recruited food vendors and exhibitors for this first-time event and took on the role of point person/general troubleshooter for everything during the event itself. The event was attended by an estimated 75,000 people. Total amount of Sponsorship dollars raised by me during this 3-month time period: $50,000+ I was also put in charge of writing press releases and media alerts related to the Seafair Torchlight Parade. I obtained a highly coveted internship with Seafair during the summer of 2013. As the Volunteer Coordinator, I recruited and managed several hundred volunteers to assist with the 75 official Seafair events. In this capacity, I also led outreach to numerous organizations and communities within the greater Seattle area to assist with Seafair activities. I was point person for all volunteers, initiating communication and troubleshooting any and all problems as they arose. I employed various social media outlets, online services, phone and newsletters to communicate. I was also asked by the Seafair VP to orchestrate communication with all Seafair Weekend Committee Chairs. Halfway through the summer, I was handed the additional role of Community Relations Liaison for Seafair Weekend. In this capacity, I was in charge of communicating with and troubleshooting for the various neighborhoods surrounding Genesee Park about issues relating to hydroplanes, air show performances, and crowd control for the thousands of spectators.
