Thetis Kosmopoulou
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Joeri in multiple projects in Greenpeace. Whether it was while he was supporting the Greenpeace Mexico Face to Face Team, in his role at Greenpeace Andino, or during the global research project on Engagement and Face to Face Fundraising, Joeri was constantly a source of inspiration. His leadership style would be best described as Quiet Power. Joeri has the unique ability of leading without overwhelming nor overpowering his staff. He is supportive, leads by example, and ensures his team members constantly develop and grow. He managed to expand his Andino Face to Face PProgram in new areas and deliver ambitious growth goals. During the Direct Dialogue Campaign Global Research Joeri participated in multiple working groups,and contributed valuable insight and critical thinking throughout the project. From co-creating the qualitative and quantitative research, to the distillation of insights, Joeri brought a unique perspective within the working groups and project teams he was part of. His background in different markets played a key role in making the results of the research relevant at a global level. I was very happy to hear that Joeri has embarked on a new role relating to Fundraising Innovation. His inquisitive nature and appetite to experiment will be a huge asset in his new role. I would collaborate again with Joeri in a heartbeat, and any organization would be lucky to have him in their ranks.
