  Ghent Topic: Machine Learning for Biological Network Inference My PhD research revolved around using machine learning techniques to infer relations in low sample and high-dimensional data. During my PhD I also conducted research on machine learning techniques for use in the intensive care unit in collaboration with the Ghent University Hospital
