My role at the Joondalup Wolves has involved creating marketing strategies and campaigns for the NBL1, Wanneroo Basketball Association programs including the West Australian Basketball League, domestic basketball competition and development programs. I have also written media releases for sponsorship and player announcements while creating and maintaining strong professional relationships with the media including Joondalup Times and the West Australian newspaper. A key part of my role is to engage with sponsors such as Meneghello, City of Joondalup, Mitsubishi Motors and Zambrero through fulfilling contractual agreements. Another of my key roles is to develop and promote yearly campaigns for attracting new memberships, also designing and promoting new merchandise to align with the yearly campaigns. The merchandise and membership campaigns are promoted through email marketing and social media. Along with memberships, I also managed the Joondalup Wolves and Wanneroo Basketball social media which involve creating content and promoting upcoming NBL1 games, merchandise, programs and embrace the elite athletes in basketball. To create content on social media I use Adobe Suite and Canva to create visually engaging content that comply with the branding of the association.Designing and developing a new website for the Wanneroo Basketball Association has been a key part of my role. Working together with web designers I have helped create a design and strategy for our new website. I maintain the Joondalup Wolves NBL1 website by creating up to date content and support for the live stream and extra features on the website. With the support of Google Analytics this helps make decisions around content of the promotion, memberships and and merchandise.
