Josh Smith

Joel was an excellent student both in the classroom and in the workshop. He has an excellent portfolio of skills and would take leading roles with all activities set. He was selected as the Race Team Manager by his fellow students and myself and excelled in this role of not only running the college race team, but also dealing with customers and their cars. As a student, he was dedicated, enthusiastic and keen to learn and constantly improve. At the end of the year his desire for perfection earnt him the 'Motorsport Engineering Student of the Year' award. On completion of the course, he took up a role in the Engineering Department and remained an asset to the motorpsort team with his machining skills and supervisory skills during practical sessions with the new cohort of students. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him for a role within the engineering/motorsport sectors.
