Sterling, Colorado I founded Nelson Financial in 1999 to help rural families and professionals build wealth. While there are clearly more important things than money, wise use of money and investments is the best indicator I know of overall success. Investing in your future helps create prosperous families and communities.

Sterling, Colorado I worked primarily with local organizations and their employees developing retirement plans and providing financial planning and investing assistance to their employees. I developed many great relationships with employers, individual investors and colleagues as we navigated the tech bubble, the credit bubble and the AIG scandal. Definitely not boring.

McPherson, Kansas This was a great position in a great facility. I was the liaison between our manufacturing facility and the corporate marketing team to coordinate all activities related to the development and manufacture of generic injectable drugs. The definition of multi-tasking and project management. Unbelievable experience.

Lutsen, Minnesota Such and honor to pay my way through college by working summers at this great resort founded by my great-great grandfather CAA Nelson who homesteaded this land with his wife Anna back in 1885 at the age of 22. His exploits are legend. I could not think of a better way to spend my summers. You learn amazing things about people when you wait tables for a living. Cool.
